Fun Fall Activities at Campgrounds

Jeff Crider shares campgrounds with fun fall activities.

As many RVing families soon discover, you don’t have wait to Halloween to dress up in costumes and go trick-or-treating.

Many of America’s campgrounds offer multiple Halloween-themed weekends in September and October, with a few offering these activities as early as late July and August. Many campgrounds also organize old fashioned fall carnivals, complete with craft shows and barbecue or baking competitions. Some even have corn mazes.

RV enthusiasts who would like enjoy other types of fall activities will find those, too, from apple, cranberry and wine grape harvest celebrations to Oktoberfest events to internationally famous attractions like the weeklong Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta.
