Ingredients
- 2 firm pears (Bosc or Anjou work well)
- 4 slices high-quality prosciutto
- Honey, for drizzling (local if possible)
- Balsamic glaze (optional)
- Crumbled blue cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Prep the Pears
- Wash and slice pears in half lengthwise.
- Use a melon baller or spoon to remove the core and seeds.
- Grill the Pears
- Preheat a charcoal or gas grill.
- Place pear halves skin-side down on the grill.
- Cover and grill for 7 minutes.
- Flip the pears over (cut side down) and grill an additional 4–5 minutes, until soft and fragrant.
- Dress the Pears
- Remove pears from the grill.
- Wrap each warm pear half with a slice of prosciutto.
- Drizzle with honey.
