Recipe: Dessert Raspberry Nutella Tortillas

Enjoy these tasty Nutella-flavored tortilla treats at the campground!

Ingredients:

  • 1 flour tortilla
  • 2–3 tablespoons Nutella or your favorite chocolate spread
  • A handful of fresh raspberries
  • 1 tablespoon chopped pecans (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions:

  1. Spread the Goodness: Lay the flour tortilla flat and generously spread Nutella over the center area.
  2. Add the Filling: Top with fresh raspberries and sprinkle chopped pecans over the top if using.
  3. Fold It Up: Fold in the sides, then flip and fold again to form a secure pocket.
  4. Heat the Skillet: Preheat a cast-iron skillet over medium heat and melt a bit of butter in the pan.
  5. Cook the Pocket: Place the folded tortilla in the skillet. Use a spatula or lid to gently press it down. Cook for about 20–30 seconds until golden and crispy.
  6. Flip and Repeat: Carefully flip the pocket, press down again, and cook the second side until crisp and the inside is warm and gooey.
  7. Enjoy! Let cool slightly and serve warm — crispy outside, melty inside perfection!

QUICK TIP: This can also be cooked on a grill or over a campfire using a griddle or pie iron.
