Every family has its history, its stories. Maybe we hear them when we are children, and distracted by other things, don’t listen. But sometimes, when we are older and more interested, they may reveal a treasure of information.
Following an extensive six-month RFP review process, Go RVing has named FCB-Chicago as its official Agency of Record, responsible for building upon Go RVing’s strong brand identity across all consumer platforms and Genuine Interactive (Boston), as its website developer.
For more than two decades, Go RVing has been the leader in diversifying the RVing audience in an effort to grow and expand the overall market. While the major core target market of RV buyer are families, identifying new potential RVers and engaging with them through traditional and digital media as well as experiential events and social influencers, is key to sustaining the lifestyle cherished by millions of Americans.
Go RVing has been awarded a Silver Telly for their “Stubborn Camper” digital ad in the Online Commercials Travel/Tourism Category. The Telly Awards was founded in 1979 to honor excellence in local, regional and cable television commercials. Now their awards include non-broadcast video, television programming and digital video.
Go RVing was all set to go big, launching a brand new, innovative, advertising campaign on April 1. The campaign, GORV!, is an attention-grabbing concept. It’s something the RV industry has never seen before, designed to appeal to the next generation of explorer, adventurer, and outdoor enthusiast, directly targeting younger consumers to think of RVs in ways they never imagined.
After a busy year full of new endeavors and accomplishments, Go RVing is proud to announce two honors they recently brought home based on its 2018 AWAY campaign. The project was led by the group’s longtime branding and advertising agency, The Richards Group, who partnered with GumGum, an artificial intelligence company, to catapult the industry’s message across consumers’ digital media devices.
Looking to grab the attention of new consumers and to reinvigorate the brand image, Go RVing has launched its new “Go on a Real Vacation” television and digital campaign. Following the relaunch of advertising in May with a successful radio campaign, Go RVing has debuted a new “Go on a Real Vacation” broadcast ad on national television
These eight campgrounds across the country feature everything from beachside dog parks and agility stations to day kennelling and other amenities for your four-legged friends.
During these unprecedented times, Go RVing has been conducting social listening to find out what consumers have to say about camping and RVing and adjust our online engagement accordingly. From March 24 through April 17 we observed a total of 27,729 mentions and 21,889 posts regarding campgrounds and RVing amidst COVID-19. Here’s what we learned:
They planned it for months. After their June 2020 wedding, Sara Stephens and RJ Crumpler were going to jet off to Japan. Then COVID-19 hit. Suddenly they either had to pivot their plans or put everything off to a later date. So, after a very tiny, very socially distanced celebration (only 15 guests), the couple returned to a long-simmering idea they discussed when they first started dating. Road trip.
