Recipe: Campfire Charcuterie Cups

Enjoy this recipe for delicious charcuterie cups!

This is a fun, no-fuss way to welcome guests at the campground! These personal charcuterie cups are sweet, savory, and portable — perfect for happy hour around the fire.

Ingredients

(Makes Six Cups)

  • 6 sturdy paper cups (burnable or compostable preferred)
  • 6 long toothpicks or wooden skewers
  • 1 cup cubed cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cubed brie cheese
  • 12 slices salami
  • 12 slices pepperoni
  • 1 cup grapes (red or green)
  • 1 cup cubed melon (cantaloupe or honeydew)
  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes
  • 12 mini mozzarella balls
  • 6 celery sticks, cut in half
  • 6 carrot sticks, cut in half
  • 6 crostini or breadsticks

Instructions

  1. Start with the Base
Fill the bottom of each cup with a handful of chopped melon or grapes. This helps anchor the skewers and adds sweetness.
  2. Build the Skewers
Thread items onto long toothpicks in this order (or mix it up!):
    • Cheese cubes
    • Grapes or melon
    • Folded deli meat
    • Tomato and mozzarella ball combos
  3. Assemble the Cups
Insert 2–3 skewers into each cup, nestling them into the fruit base. Add extra grapes or melon for balance.
  4. Add the Crunch
Tuck in half a celery stick, a carrot stick, and a crostini or breadstick for added texture.
  5. Serve & Enjoy
Pass them around the campfire! When the snacks are gone, guests can use their skewers to pick out the fruit at the bottom.

TIP: Get creative! Try olives, pickles, prosciutto, or even a mini chocolate for dessert.
