Location: Office With a View

By blending remote work with the open road, RVers can seamlessly transition from outdoor adventure to professional tasks—all from the comfort of a campsite with a view.

The canyon walls towered over our campsite, a rugged wilderness stretching as far as the eye could see. After an incredible afternoon scaling sandstone routes and exploring hidden rock arches, we didn’t have to face a long, exhausting drive back to a hotel. Instead, our home on wheels was parked right at the trailhead.

Inside the compact travel trailer, we traded our climbing gear for a cutting board, prepping fresh street tacos with squeezed lime and cilantro in our own kitchen. We stepped outside to eat at the camp table, enjoying the crisp evening breeze. While one of us wrapped up a few remote work tasks on a laptop with the canyon as a backdrop, the sky began to shift into deep shades of orange and purple.

"Um, I think I'm done," she said, closing her computer screen.

"Sweet, let's go," came the reply.

We walked a few steps to the edge of the overlook as a brilliant, fiery sunset exploded across the landscape.

"Wait... are you serious?" she gasped, taking in the panoramic horizon. "That's so wild."

Having our entire basecamp right there meant we didn't miss a single second of the magic.
